Matlock give the gift of football this Christmas
Matlock Town are spreading the Christmas spirit by giving free entry to their home game against Lincoln United on December 20.
Fans will be able to attend the game at the Proctors Cars Stadium for free - though are being encouraged to book their free tickets online to beat the rush.
A club spokesperson said: "As a club at the heart of the community, we understand the Christmas season can be a financially challenging time for many people and that it isn't always possible to afford to watch live sport. So with that in mind, we want to give something back.
"That is why our final home game before Christmas will see free entry for all home and away supporters.
“This is our way of expressing our gratitude to our fans and our community for your tremendous support throughout the year.”
A free Santa’s grotto will be open to all children under the age of 12, including a free gift from Santa.
And the big man himself will be at the stadium from 12-2pm on match day.
The Gladiators currently sit second in the Northern Premier League East Division, winning 12 of their 19 matches, and scoring 46 goals in the process.
