Aiden Walker excited for new move

Walker, who features at centre-back, joined the club earlier this week, having previously been with Football League Two side Mansfield Town.

The defender has experienced the Northern Premier League before with Leek Town and Grantham Town, and is looking to help the team climb the ladder.

“I’m excited,” he said.

“I just want to get as many games as I can and push up the table.

“The lads are good and that’s important - to have a good dressing room.

“It’s a tough league. Any team can beat anyone."

Walker could make his debut this Saturday against Tadcaster Albion in the league, while he also featured for Brighouse Town during pre-season before an injury sidelined him for four months.

“Saturday will hopefully be my debut,” he added.

“I’m getting back into the swings of things after four months out. I’m looking forward to it and it should be a decent crowd Saturday.”
