Ashton United appoint new club general manager

Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division club Ashton United have appointed a new club general manager.

Ashton United FC have announced the appointment of Andy Clayton as club general manager.

Recently retired from a senior role in IT Hardware & Service Management within Computer Centre’s for a major British Telecommunications company, Andy joins the club, in a voluntary capacity, with immediate effect.

Joint-chairman David Burke said: "Andy will fit well within the Ashton United family. His knowledge and experience will be invaluable to our organisation and his humility, sense of humour and ‘get things done’ attitude is exactly what is needed to help drive us further forward."
