Award winners are toast of the town!

Warrington Town chairman Toby Macormac and manager Paul Carden weren't short of a drop of the hard stuff to bring in 2018 on New Year's Eve after collecting the club's first Northern Premier League 'Club of the Month' accolade of the season.

Macormac and Carden are pictured flanking EVO-STIK League representative Paul Hatt after collecting November's top flight performance award on the Saturday before Christmas before kicking off against Coalville Town at the Winner Recruitment Stadium.

Named as one of November's performance kings alongside Basford United in EVO-STIK League South and Prescot Cables in EVO-STIK League North, Carden's play-off-chasers were worthy winners of the club's first monthly honours of the historic 2017-18 season, pipping their nearest rivals at Grantham Town and Nantwich Town to the award thanks to their run of three wins out of four in the top flight and two victories in the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Like all winners of the monthly honours, the Wire were presented with an engraved glass memento to mark their success and a bottle of spirits to celebrate with.
