The duo were unveiled as the new touchline team at the fourth-from-bottom EVO-STIK League North club on Thursday after Band and Morrison, pictured, paid the price for securing one win in their last 15 games and were relieved of their duties after nearly five years at the helm.
UEFA coach Wild stood down at North West Counties Football League Stockport Town to step up to the Northern Premier League while Hincks brings a wealth of experience from previous coaching and management roles at Cheadle Town and Glossop North End. They will be aided by Phil Carratt as assistant manager and Liam Hudson as first team coach after they left Stockport to follow Wild to Seel Park.
Former Lilywhites player and assistant manager Band brought in then Winsford United boss Morrison as joint manager in August 2013 within weeks of stepping up to succeed Gareth McClelland as manager.
Together, the pair led Mossley to Manchester Premier Cup final triumphs over Curzon Ashton and Stalybridge Celtic as the second longest serving management team in the club's history after Bob Murphy and Don Wilson.
They left with an overall record of 96 wins, 38 draws and 111 defeats over almost five full seasons and were thanked by club officials for their work and dedication in a statement announcing their departure.
A Lilywhites spokesman said: "We'd like to place on record our sincere thanks to both Peter and Lloyd for their superb efforts during their time with the club."
Wild told Stockport Town's website on Thursday: "I have been given the opportunity to manage at Mossley Football Club and after discussions with [chairman] Seb Rowe and the board we all agreed that it is too good an opportunity for me to turn down."
