Bidding underway for matchday sponsorship!

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Farsley Celtic are selling the matchday sponsorship package for their home game against leaders Northwich Victoria on eBay!

With Celtic hosting the First Division North pace-setters on Saturday 19 September, officials decided to offer the sponsorship to the highest bidder over the weekend before making it available on the online auction site on Monday.

Farsley Celtic's head of media Robert Winterbottom is hoping the idea will encourage people who wouldn't normally consider sponsoring a game to give it a go and help them boost the club's finances.

He said: "We have decided to take the unusual step of auctioning our match sponsorship against Northwich on eBay! We are open for bidding and open to all offers!"
