Bootle appoint new manager

Bootle have confirmed the appointment of former Warrington Rylands manager Dave McNabb.

McNabb replaces Ste McNulty, who resigned on Wednesday, following their defeat in the Liverpool Senior Cup to Runcorn Linnets.

At Rylands, McNabb led them from the North West Counties to the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

After leaving The Blues, McNabb took charge of Macclesfield, where he replaced Danny Whittaker. However, he resigned soon after due to work commitments.

The Bucks say he will take charge immediately, and his first game will be on Saturday against Colne.
