Boro announce extended sponsor deal

Butcher & Barlow to remain as main sponsor

Radcliffe Borough have announced that they have agreed a further year with a one year option with solicitors Butcher & Barlow to be the club’s main sponsor, which will begin in July.

Next season will be the third year that the local based solicitors have supported the club and that support means so much to the club. In these difficult commercial times it has been almost impossible for clubs at this standard to secure sponsorship of this level so it is naturally pleasing and exciting that the club have once again secured a main sponsor. It is a remarkable feat and achievement that the football club through the past 20 years have not failed to have a main sponsor for the football club.

Major shareholder Bernard Manning said, “This is great news for the football club and to receive the news early is such a big lift to us all, both Kevin and I have worked closely with Jonathan (Aldersley) and Anthony (Higham) from Butcher and Barlow and we are delighted this has come to the point where they have pledged their fantastic support once again. It confirms what we are doing off the pitch is working and this type of support will help us towards our ultimate aim of bringing better times on the pitch. Although there will be further press releases and media interviews etc I would just like to take this opportunity to thank Jonathan and Anthony for their continued fabulous support.”

Partner Jonathan Aldersley said, “We made our decision early to show we are right behind the club and its aims and objectives. You have to have a secure base in business to ensure that real benefits occur and that is what the club are trying to achieve and we have witnessed that in some of our work for them. We hope our further support will get them to the point where the real benefits we all like to see – on the pitch – happen.”

Adding to that statement Anthony Higham said, “We believe we as a firm have seen a benefit through our involvement and we can also see that the club is developing. If our continued support can been seen as a catalyst for more productive times on and off the pitch, which I know everyone behind the scenes at the club wants, then it will all have been worthwhile.”

Butcher and Barlow will once again see there logo and name emblazoned across the shirts, magazine and advertising boards and the club will continue to create awareness for their partners. Although we are coming to the end of this season it is such a great and positive start for the 2012-2013 season.
