The former Ilkeston Town, Mickleover Sports and Basford United left-back will take the helm for the first time on Tuesday night at home to Long Eaton United in the Derbyshire Senior Cup after watching the Nailers from the stands in their 3-0 reverse at Stamford in EVO-STIK League South on Saturday.
Officially unveiled on Sunday as the successor to Anthony Danylyk at Christchurch Meadow following his predecessor's departure two weeks ago, the 36-year-old former Coventry City youth player turned out more than 600 times for the Brewers during their rise from the Northern Premier League to the Football League.
Webster, pictured in his role as an elite team manager of Burton Albion Community Trust's Football and Education programme since last year, will be assisted by former Sheffield United, Blackburn Rovers and Burton Albion midfielder Lee Williamson as he takes his first steps into management.
A Jamaican international, the 35-year-old kicked off his career at Mansfield Town and also lists Northampton Town, Rotherham United, Portsmouth, Preston North End and Watford among his former clubs.
He will also be available for selection and a Nailers spokesman said: "We at Belper Town look forward to exciting times under our new management team."
