Brig progress to Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy final

Bamber Bridge have progressed to the final of the Lancashire FA Challenge Trophy following a 9-0 victory over Prestwich Heys.

Jamie Milligan's men have secured their place in the final following a comprehensive victory over Prestwich Heys.

Nathan Shaw bagged his first senior hat-trick, scoring his first on the 37th minute, and competing it on 51.

Matthew Dudley opened the scoring on nine minutes and netted a brace soon after, alongside Rowan Roache who also scored double, while Chris Marlow and Danny Forbes also netted.

They will face either Lancaster City or Atherton Collieries in the final, which is set to be held at the County Ground on April 20.
