The retired midfielder and coach, who earned a move to West Ham from Gravesend & Northfleet in 1999 before going on to play for Peterborough, Wigan, Fulham, Hull, Ipswich Town and Milton Keynes Dons before managing Isthmian League Leatherhead last season, is the guest of honour at the EVO-STIK League South club's upcoming 2018 Sports Celebrity Dinner.
Taking place at the South Holland Civic Centre near the Lincolnshire home of the Tulips on Thursday 19 April, the fundraising night features an auction of sporting memorabilia, a three course dinner and fully licensed bar. With tickets priced at £595.00 for a table of ten selling out fast, organisers say they are now being sold on a "strictly first come first served basis".
Now 39 and a regular on TV since appearing on ITV's 'I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!', Bullard, pictured, was best known for being a passionate leader on the pitch and his funny antics on and off it, playing football with a smile throughout his career. After helping former Northern Premier League champions Wigan Athletic complete their rise to the Premier League, then Latics manager Paul Jewell described Bullard as "the heart and soul" of his dressing room.
