Callum Ross signs new deal with South Shields

South Shields have announced that midifleder Callum Ross has signed a new deal with the club.

Ross joined the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit in January 2020 after a spell with USA-based Oklahoma City Energy.

He said: “I’m really pleased to have signed a new deal with the club.

“The club had an option to extend my previous contract but offered me a longer-term one, and I’m proud the management wanted to keep me.

“It gives me that bit of extra security and now I’m just excited to get going again.

“I’m hugely grateful to the club and management for everything they’ve done for me so far and really want to repay their faith in the coming seasons.”

Manager Graham Fenton added: “We are delighted that Callum has committed his future to the club by signing a new long-term contract.

“He showed real class and quality in the games we were able to play last season as he fully settled into the squad.

“We are looking forward to seeing him back in a South Shields shirt as soon as possible.”
