Taking place on Sunday 5 August at their Linden home, less than two weeks before the new EVO-STIK League East season kicks off on Saturday 18 August, two teams of celebrity fundraisers led by Soccer AM's Lloyd Griffith and This is England star Thomas Turgoose are going head to head in a fundraiser for the St Andrew's Hospice and football charity Once upon a Smile.
Owls officials are planning to announce a host of games and entertainment for all the family before and after the 1pm kick off and on Thursday urged supporters to book early with family tickets priced at £12 and all proceeds going to the good causes.
A spokesperson said: "As a club, we are proud and delighted to stage this charity game between celebrity teams in support of St Andrew's Hospice and Once Upon A Smile. We offer much thanks to both Lloyd Griffith and Thomas Turgoose, plus all the players generously giving their time in support of such a valuable cause.
"As well as the football, there will be plenty else going on to entertain all the family. A full itinerary for the day will be announced closer to 5th August but we would advise everyone to purchase their tickets as early as possible to avoid disappointment."
