Champagne time for milestone man!

Frickley Athletic's Luke Hinsley has collected a bottle of champagne to celebrate his 150th appearances for the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's Blues.

The 24-year-old striker turned midfielder is pictured being presented with a bottle of bubbly on Saturday by Blues director Barry Johnson before kick off against Workington in the EVO-STIK NPL Premier Division.

Hinsley, who was making his 154th appearances in the 1-1 draw at the SW Jackson Utilities Stadium, has made 137 starts and 17 substitute appearances since arriving in the summer of 2012 from Harrogate Railway Athletic, scoring 31 goals along the way to become a fans' favourite.

The former Goole AFC and Yorkshire Main attacker is only the 15th player in the club's recent history to reach the 150 appearances milestone. The next player in his sights is Lee Stratford with 160 outings to his name in a Blues' shirt.
