Champions mourn former manager

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League champions Lancaster City are mourning the loss of former player and manager Sean Gallagher.

A Dolly Blues player in the Lancashire Combination for several seasons in the 1960s, Mr Gallagher, pictured, went on to manage the 2017 EVO-STIK NPL First Division North champions in the Northern Premier League between 1974 and 1980.

The funeral service of the father-of-two and grandfather is taking on Tuesday 9 May at 11.30am at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Torrisholme after he passed away peacefully in April aged 80.
