Chasetown launch wall of support

EVO-STIK League West Division side Chasetown have launched a “Wall of Support” at the club.

It was unveiled at the recent league game against Prescot Cables outside the turnstile hut.

Chief Executive Mick Joiner with the granite tile dedicated to his father Jim Joiner, an integral part of the club's early success as a supporter, fundraiser and committee member.

Other tiles in place in the first frame are former player and manager Charlie Blakemore, full back Andy Cox (second highest appearances with 535) and our club sponsors of 8 years Crown Highways.

The tiles cost £50 and the monies raised are ring fenced for ground improvements, the main target to improve the 30 year old floodlights.

Tiles are limited to three rows of up to 16 characters.
