Chasetown striker to make FA Cup draw

Chasetown FC forward Danny Smith will make the draw for the 4th Round of the FA Cup with Budweiser live on ITV from Wembley Stadium on Sunday 8th January.

Smith famously scored the 88th-minute winning goal to knock out Port Vale in the historic 2nd Round replay at the Scholars Ground in December 2007.

This set up a home tie with Championship side Cardiff City in the third round in January 2008 – still the record difference between League and non-League clubs in an FA Cup tie – and the Bluebirds’ manager at the time Dave Jones will join Danny to make the draw.

The draw will be screened live on ITV on Sunday January 8th at the conclusion of the day’s FA Cup Third Round action.
