Cole returns to Newcastle

Cole, 24, was previously a top goalscorer for the club, scoring 27 league goals.

A club statement said: “The first Team Management were keen to add a player of Jordan's experience and goal scoring ability to our talented squad.

“His arrival will add some much needed competition in our forward line.

“Everybody at the club would like to wish Jordan a successful return.”

Cole has had spells with Nantwich Town, Kidsgrove Athletic and Whitchurch Alport.
