Colls keep Hughes for the run-in

Title-chasing Atherton Collieries have been boosted by the news that winger Connor Hughes will remain at the club for the rest of the season.

Hughes, 25, arrived on a short-term loan from Curzon Ashton recently and was man of the match in the recent win over Leek Town where he scored his first goal for the club.

The former Oldham man has also played for Hyde, Halifax, Worcester City, Warrington Town and Stalybridge Celtic.
