Colne announce management structure changes

Colne FC have announced that Geoff McDougle will take on the role of Chief Executive, while Chairman Ryan Haigh moves on from his position.

McDougle is already well established in the operations at Colne due to his time as Sporting Director, which he took over in July 2021.

During his tenure as The Reds' Chairman, Haigh has seen his club become Premier Division Champions in the 2015/16 season, earning a promotion to the Northern Premier League Division One North.

Haigh has taken a step back from his duties to focus on his external business endeavours.

Meanwhile, McDougle has begun to implement a fan-led committee to ensure that the club reaches it's maximum potential.

The new Chief Executive will work closely with new manager Phil Brown on recruitment plans ahead of the 2022/23 Northern Premier League West season.

Further announcements to the club's senior management structure are expected to be announced in short order.
