The EVO-STIK NPL's chairman Mark Harris and his directors and officers congratulate all at The Sir Tom Finney Stadium after the club lifted the trophy for the second time in their history on Wednesday night with a 2-1 victory over Grantham Town at Leek Town's Harrison Park.
After winning the EVO-STIK NPL's cup competition for the first time in 1995 with a 2-1 win over Bishop Auckland, Jamie Milligan put Neil Reynolds' side ahead on the stroke of half-time before Regan Linney extended their advantage on 57 minutes, Danny Meadows replying for the valiant Gingerbreads six minutes later.
Brig boss Neil Reynolds is pictured with the EVO-STIK NPL First Division North club's silverware after being presented with the cup and a winner's cheque for £2,000 by Barry Greenlees from the competition's sponsor Integro. As losing finalists, Grantham Town left Staffordshire with a cheque for £1,000 while this season's defeated semi-finalists and quarter-finalists were awarded £500 and £250 respectively.
