Congratulations to Basford United on winning the Northern Premier League's South Division championship on Thursday night!

Runaway leaders for many months, Martin Curruthers and his champions finally clinched the title after collecting the three points they still needed with a 5-0 win at Market Drayton Town.

Northern Premier League chairman Mark Harris, together with his directors and officers, congratulate all at Greenwich Avenue on their fantastic achievement and wish them well next season in the EVO-STIK League's top flight.

The champions are now looking forward to celebrating on Saturday when they collect their trophy and medals after hosting play-off chasing Lincoln United in their final home game of the season.
