Cup kings and debut on download ...

By David Watters

The Non-League Paper's Thomas Feaheny makes his debut on a bumper editor of Friday's new EVO-STIK NPL Show!

Apart from running the rule over the weekend's action with the NLP sportswriter, host Ben Hughes looks back on an historic week for two of the three EVO-STIK League clubs through to the first round proper of this season's Emirates FA Cup and looking forward to banking £67,500 TV fees from the Football Association for live coverage, Hyde United commentator Ian Burke on hosting the MK Dons on the BBC and Shaw Lane chairman Craig Wood on a date for the Ducks with Mansfield Town on BT Sport.

New Rushall Olympic and former Hednesford Town boss Liam McDonald and Warrington Town manager Paul Carden also joined Hughes and regular guest Swampy to review last weekend's action around the EVO-STIK League with Richard Impey when the latest official podcast was recorded at Altrincham's Moss Lane before being released for download by fans, players and officials at 7pm on Friday.

And if all of that wasn't enough for more than hour of debate and opinions, EVO-STIK League social media manager James Heyes was on hand to look back on the first round of the Integro League Cup before Thursday night's live draw for the next round of the league's showpiece cup competition was watched more 5,000 times within an hour being broadcast!

The EVO-STIK NPL Show's hit weekly and monthly podcasts returned for the 2017-18 campaign after the summer break to build on their best ever listening figures last term and an end of season surge following a series of special live broadcasts from the promotion play-offs.

Still available on iTunes as well as Audioboom and produced by the award-winning team behind FCUM Radio, the podcasts are being sponsored for the fourth season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK and since last season have also been available via their own button on the right hand side of the home page of the league's official website.
