Defender earns Kidsgrove deal

Kidsgrove Athletic defender Declan O'Riordan has signed a contract with the club until the end of the 2022/23 season.

O’Riordan, 21, has impressed at the heart of the defence since he arrived at the Autonet Insurance Stadium from North West Counties side Sandbach United over the Christmas holidays.

Manager Scott Dundas said: "We are delighted that he has stepped up a couple of divisions and showed great promise to go further up the football pyramid."

O’Riordan made his 13th appearance for Kidsgrove in the 1-0 defeat to Runcorn Linnets on Saturday.
