Departures aplenty at Ramsbottom

Ramsbottom United have confirmed the departures of six players plus goalkeeping coach Andy Robertson.

Rob Henry and Jerome Wright have moved to EVO-STIK League Premier Division clubs Lancaster City and Hyde United respectively, while Curtis Jones has joined Glossop North End.

Ben Deegan, Phil Dean and Tom Brooks have also left the club.

A statement on the club’s website said: “The club will be making a further statement in the next few days.”

Mark Fell resigned as manager at the start of October to take the job at Lancaster and was replaced by Chris Willcock.

They currently sit 10th in the EVO-STIK League West Division, and travel to Frickley Athletic in the FA Trophy on Saturday.
