Double century for Trafford

The Trafford FC newsletter is celebrating its 200th edition this month.

Produced by Dave Murray, it started back in March 1995 as an eight-page issue a month after he joined the club from Curzon Ashton.

It included club and NWCL news and Trafford Teasers, State of Play and reserves report.

In the second issue, the then manager of Trafford and now the club’s press officer, Dave Law, started his own column and has written a column in every newsletter to this day.

The newsletter now carries 22 pages, is available online and has even been posted to Spain!

Writing in the October 2018 edition, Murray said: “I would like to thank everybody over the years that have contributed to the newsletter and making it a very popular issue and also thank those who have commented on its success.

“I also hope you all continue to enjoy the read.”

The latest issue from the EVO-STIK West Division club is packed with all the latest information.

That includes news on their upcoming sportsperson’s dinner, travel, league news, cup draws, looking through the years, pen pics, team photos, State of Play and what the papers say.
