Early kick-off at Colwyn Bay

By James Gordon

Colwyn Bay's home game against Clitheroe in the EVO-STIK League West Division on Saturday has been brought forward two hours and will now kick off at 1pm.

After a floodlight failure caused a 20 minute delay to the second half of the Boxing Day game against Market Drayton, the North Wales club have had an engineer in to assess, but he can't install the replacement parts until next week.

The club apologise for any inconvenience this may cause supporters, but nobody wants a situation where the game might have to be abandoned at half-time should the lights fail again.

The league and Clitheroe have agreed to the earlier kick off in order to get the fixture completed.
