The Highwaymen have won five of their last six games, making them the most in-form team in the competition. They will be confident of picking up a result against a Spalding side that have picked up 10 points in as many games.
Second and third-placed Brighouse and Sheffield have identical records in their last six games, and both are on the road this week against Loughborough Dynamo and Wisbech Town respectively.
In the chasing pack, Pontefract Collieries travel to 15th-placed AFC Mansfield, while Tadcaster Albion visit Stocksbridge Park Steels.
In addition, Ossett United will look to bounce back from having their seven-game unbeaten run ended by Morpeth when they head to take on play-off chasing Stamford.
There are also some interesting clashes in the middle of the table this weekend as Belper Town put their three-game winning streak on the line against Marske United.
Lincoln United’s form has picked up in their last two games, ending their rut of five defeats in a row. With a trip to second bottom Carlton Town on the horizon, Sam Wilkinson’s side will be looking to keep their newfound momentum going.
In the other games this round, Cleethorpes Town head to a Pickering side without a victory in their last eight games, while Gresley FC will hope to end their turgid recent run as they travel to Frickley Athletic.
