Bootle appoint Brian Richardson as manager

Richardson joins the club with a wealth of experience, particularly of this division, having most recently managed Prescot Cables where on two occasions they narrowly missed out on promotion. He joins Bootle from FC United of Manchester where he has been assistant to Neil Reynolds since June 2019.

His first match will be Saturday's visit to Market Drayton Town.

Liam Loughlin will be in in charge of first team affairs when the club face Runcorn Linnets due to the absence of Richie Boswarva and Chris Stammers recent decision to join Widnes.
