Cup Final: "It's what we play for, to win things"

By James Gordon

Farsley Celtic defender Jack Higgins is looking forward to the chance to win a trophy when they face Trafford in next week's Integro League Cup Final.

The EVO-STIK League Premier Division side meet Trafford at FC United's Broadhurst Park on Tuesday April 16 (7.45pm kick-off).

Higgins told the club's official website: "It's what we all play for, to win things.

“With the size of our squad we've had no option but to approach each game looking to progress and we've found ourselves in a final against a good Trafford side.

“It will be a tough game as they’ve got some really good players, but it's a chance for us to win a trophy which only a small number of players get the opportunity to do each year."

There will be no extra time played and penalties will decide the winner in the event of the scores being level after 90 minutes.
