Manager Graham Drury said: "I'm pleased to announce that Sean Wright and James Blunden have committed for another season at Stamford.
"Sean will continue as skipper at the club. Over the last two seasons he has proven to be a leader and his teammates look up to him. For me, a skipper is someone that you need to trust on and off the pitch. Getting to know Wrighty over the last couple of seasons, he has the drive which is needed to take the club forward and has similar values as I.
"He is a top player and I sometimes wonder if he realises how good he really is.
"I'm so chuffed he will be standing alongside me as my skipper, he wants what we all want and that's to win games and try and get this club promoted.
"Blunden is another lad that has attracted clubs from higher levels, the big strong and powerful centre-half will only get better and better. Again, like Wrighty he pops up with important goals like the one at Leek last season.
"James has played every game when fit, that just shows how much I rate him. He's calm on the ball and wins battles against the forwards. Its another fantastic signing for us and I'm over the moon to have him back on board."
