Atherton Collieries are in the middle of a run of 10 consecutive Saturdays at home.

Their run to the first round of the FA Trophy has seen home games against Scarborough (although this was postponed and played on a Tuesday night), Morpeth and Boston, while they will host Barrow next month.

Currently due to play their seventh scheduled Saturday this weekend at home to Bamber Bridge, the run that started on October 19th stretches to December 21st.

Their next scheduled away game on a Saturday is a trip to Warrington Town on January 4th.

Club officials have been in touch to ask if this is some sort of record - and while we don't have an exhaustive list of scheduled fixtures, we thought some club historians may well have the answer.
