Loughborough appoint new club captain

Loughborough Dynamo have appointed Rob Norris as the new club captain.

Norris re-joined Dynamo from Lincoln United in 2018, and will step into the vacant captaincy role left by Ryan Robbins.

Manager Lee Attenborough told the club's official website: “Rob [Norris] is the obvious man to step up and become the club captain,” the 29-year-old said.

“He’s played the role several times this season already and is unanimously respected in the dressing room by both the players and the management team because of the way he conducts himself.

“He will lead by example in terms of the way he performs on the pitch, but also the way he carriers himself on the training ground and the manner in which he speaks to those around him.

“An all-round good, positive influence and somebody I’m looking forward to seeing fill the role.”
