Jerome, 26, initially joined the club last summer, having previously featured for Ramsbottom United.
On re-signing, he said: "I'm happy to get it all sorted early.
"It's good to have something to look forward to, especially after everything that's happened and to not have any uncertainty about where I'm going to be playing come the restart."
Manager Danny Grainger added: "Reuben's a goalscorer who'll bring many goals to our team and I still don't think we've seen the best of him.
"He could've easily moved to another club closer to home but he wanted to stay and finish the job that he started here.
"He's a born winner and really bought into the environment that we've got at the club."
