Stocksbridge sign Alex O'Connor

The 20-year-old midfielder has been at Brighouse this season but has previously played for Hyde and was part of Barnsley’s Shadow Scholarship scheme.

He was coached in the AC Milan academy in Australia by former Italy international Andrea Icardi.

Upon signing for Stocksbridge, manager Ian Richards described O’Connor as: “A technically good footballer with high fitness levels and the desire to develop as a player.”
