Thursday's First Division North action review

By David Watters

Tt`s now Witton Albion or Kendal Town who'll be twitching when they travel to Church Lane praying they don`t become relegated New Mills` first victims of a miserable 2015-16 EVO-STIK Northern Premier League season, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

That`s because the side who are just above the drop zone, Ossett Town, became the thirty-seventh to beat the Millers, winning 2-0 at Ingfield on Thursday night to further ease any lingering worries of relegation.

Simon Rogers gave Town the lead a minute before the break and then Alex Peterson settled nerves with the second with eight minutes to go to secure Ossett`s fourth win in their last five games.
