Smith, 26, will enter his ninth season with the Reds after progressing through the club's academy.
The defender has made 193 starts for the club.
He said: "I can't wait to get going and, even though we might be playing some games before it, I'm focusing on next season and getting finished what should've been finished a long time ago and get that promotion."
Wordsworth, 30, is set for his 10th season at Borough Park after making his debut in the 2011/12 campaign.
"Once I spoke to Danny (Grainger) and Ruddy (Steven Rudd), I knew I was going to be re-signing," said Wordsworth.
"I'm not looking to go anywhere else, especially at my age. Just to get things sorted is good."
