Anthony Malbon extends stay at Kidsgrove

Kidsgrove Athletic have announced that all-time top goal scorer Anthony Malbon has agreed a new two-year deal with the club.

The forward has scored 147 goals for the Grove since he joined all the way back in January 2015 from Stalybridge Celtic.

This season Malbon has scored 13 goals in all competitions, 10 of which have come in the league and in that time he has scored one hat trick which came in the 5-0 home win against Wisbech Town back in November.

The 29-year-old has been the side’s top goal scorer in every season that he has been at the club and last season he scored an incredible total of 32 goals.

Kidsgrove could not be more pleased to get our club captain and talisman on board for a further two years.
