Deacey Pens New BPA Deal

Club statement.

Bradford (Park Avenue) are delighted to announce that John Deacey has signed an extension to his current contract at the Horsfall Stadium.

Bradford (Park Avenue) who are currently sitting second in the Evostik NPL Premier Division, have signed up their manager until the end of next season with an option of a further season. In his third stint at Bradford (Park Avenue), Deacey has brought plenty of changes at the club, overseeing an overhaul to the playing staff to attract the type of player he wants. Consequently, he has earned praise from football experts in the Football League and Non League for his philosophy of playing attractive football. It is also expected that his assistant Mark Hume will sign a contract to remain as John Deacey’s right hand man.

In 2011, Bradford (Park Avenue) have been tipped to be amongst the favourites for promotion this year, after narrowly missing out in a playoff semi final last season against FC United of Manchester. They have begun the season extremely well, only losing twice and easing into the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round after defeating Harrogate Railway Athletic 8-0.

The chairman of Bradford (Park Avenue) Dr John Dean commented; “It is fantastic news for Bradford (Park Avenue) to get the long term commitment of such a talented manager.”
