Exhibition celebrates 70 years of Radcliffe FC

An exhibition celebrating 70 years of the history of Radcliffe FC has opened at Radcliffe Library.

Lifelong fan Stewart Fell has spent the last three years at the Library, trawling through local newspapers and records from the club’s foundation in 1949 to the present day, to create an exhibition about his local team.

On display are team photographs, programmes and match reports dating back to their very first match in 1949 plus information on famous players of the past.

The information is in three volumes - 1949-50 to 1967-68, 1968-69 to 1986-87 and 1987-88 to 2018-19. The exhibition is open until the end of June.

Opening times
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 - 4:30
Thursday 12:30 - 7:30
Saturday 10:00 - 1:00

The address for the exhibition is Radcliffe Library, Stand Lane, Radcliffe, Greater Manchester. M26 1WR. Free parking is available outside the library, and access is available for wheelchair users.
