Midfielder on the move for free

By David Watters

Southport midfielder Nathan Lowe could be heading to the EVO-STIK League after being transfer listed.

The Sandgrounders invited clubs to land the 22-year-old former FC United of Manchester and Spennymoor midfielder, pictured, in a statement on Thursday confirming his availability for a permanent transfer.

No fee is required and Southport secretary Ken Hilton said possible suitors should contact manager Liam Watson or his number two Neil Sang for permission to speak to the Wigan-based player who's made 20 appearances for the National League North club.
