Evans made 21 appearances in his first season with the club, as they narrowly missed out on the West Division play-offs.
Linnets manager Michael Ellison said: "I think it was a great learning curve for Bobby last season, playing his first season at this level due to our injury problems.
"He pretty much played in every position and never let us down once which I think shows how important to any squad a player like him is.
"Technically, he's top drawer and his attitude is second to none. I think it could be a big season for Bobby this year and I'm delighted to have him on board again."
Also returning is left-sided player Zac Aley, midfielder Ronnie McCarthy and winger Paul Shanley.
Meanwhile, midfielder Kris Holt has made a u-turn on his decision to stay and will instead join North West Counties side West Didsbury & Chorlton.
