Every kick of a ball to be covered!

Scarborough Athletic fans and away supporters playing the Seadogs can tune in to full match commentary of all their games over the upcoming 2016-17 EVO-STIK Northern Premier League campaign.

Excited Seadogs officials announced on Tuesday that they were linking up with Yorkshire Coast Radio to cover every kick of a ball by Steve Kittrick's side, home and away, over the course of the EVO-STIK NPL First Division North season.

Kicking off on Saturday when Bamber Bridge arrive at Queensgate on the opening day, the matchday coverage will be broadcast live on the Yorkshire Coast Radio website and app.

The Seadogs are delighted to be extending their media partnership with the commercial station which will see communications officer Will Baines and guests describing the action, analysing events and discussing the latest news around the EVO-STIK NPL.

Baines said: "The opportunity for supporters to listen to commentary and analysis live from Boro games takes our matchday coverage to the next level. We are thrilled to be working with Yorkshire Coast Radio to provide this service to fans unable to attend matches during the season.”

Yorkshire Coast Radio are also stepping up their support over the new season as the new over-arching sponsor of the club's youth set-up. The radio station will have a banner at all junior games played at their home base of Bramcote School and will also feature on the back of the playing shirts of Athletic's U15s side.

Scarborough Athletic's commercial director Nick Finch said: “We are very pleased to be working with Yorkshire Coast Radio to support our junior sides. With the return back to Scarborough planned for the 2017-18 season, the next generation will be crucial to the future of the club moving forward at Weaponness.”

Yorkshire Coast Radio's managing director Chris Sigsworth said: “I am delighted that Yorkshire Coast Radio is able to support the Scarborough Athletic juniors and give them the opportunity to play and develop their skills. Exciting times are ahead for Scarborough Athletic, and we are proud to have agreed a partnership to both support the juniors and provide fans of the club with match commentary.”
