In the Premier Division, South Shields got themselves firmly back in the play-off race with a total of 13 points from a possible 15 in March, as well as gaining three points on their rivals following the expunging of North Ferriby’s playing record.
They started the month with a 1-1 draw at home to Buxton, but followed that with a 3-1 win at Mickleover, with Ben Harmison scoring twice.
They beat Marine home and away, 2-1 and 3-1 respectively, either side of a 4-0 thumping of Hyde.
Lee Mason scored in four of those five games as Shields now boast a significantly better goal difference than anybody else in the league.
In the East Division, runaway leaders Morpeth Town moved closer to the title with a perfect March.
They beat Spalding United and Lincoln United, before winning 3-2 away at nearest rivals Brighouse Town, and then rounding off the month with a 1-0 win at Carlton Town.
As well as that, they booked a place in the Northumberland Senior Cup final at St James’ Park by seeing off Newcastle Under 23s.
In the West Division, Radcliffe put themselves right in title contention by seeing off their two closest rivals in a potentially pivotal month of March.
After beating Droylsden 2-1, and winning 4-0 away at Kendal Town thanks to a Ben Wharton hat-trick, they pulled off back-to-back wins in top of the table tussles.
First it was a 1-0 home win over Runcorn Linnets, before Tunde Owolabi’s winner was enough to win away at leaders Atherton Collieries.
The awards will be presented to clubs at the Players’ Awards Dinner in Barnsley on Sunday.
