Experienced midfielder Chris Taylor joins FC United

FC United have announced the signing of former Oldham Midfielder Chris Taylor from Northern Premier League side Radcliffe.

Taylor, 35, has made over 400 professional appearances throughout his career.

Beginning in Oldham's youth academy, Taylor made his professional debut for the Latics in 2005.

Following a seven year spell at Oldham, making 254 appearances and scoring 33 goals, Taylor made a move to Millwall.

He also spent three years at Blackburn and had stints at Bolton, Blackpool, Bradford City, Barrow and most recently Radcliffe.

On their new addition, FC United stated that the signing is a "signal of intent as we look to keep climbing the table."

FC United are currently on a three game winning streak and sit just outside of a play-off spot due to goal difference.

They face Gainsborough Trinity away from home this weekend.
