Fans invited to debate start to season

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Halesowen Town are inviting their supporters to a fans' forum to discuss their start to the season and plans for the future.

The Premier Division club's officials say owner Steve Lynch, chairman Colin Brookes, manager John Hill and assistant manager Matt Clarke will be taking questions from fans at the event on Saturday 12 September.

Taking place after they take on top flight rivals Mickleover Sports at The Grove in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup, the forum kicks off in the James Grove Lounge at 6pm.

The Yeltz are asking fans to confirm their attendance on Facebook or in person and a club spokesman said: "We hope to see as many fans there as possible."

* Halesowen Town are mourning the recent death of former player Jack Hadlington who had been suffering from a serious illness. Hadlington was in the Yeltz side who reached the FA Cup First Round in 1955, scoring in a 4-2 loss at home to Hendon.
