Fans preparing for fundraising walk

By David Watters

Fans of EVO-STIK League Witton Albion are kicking off another season of fundraising with a sponsored walk to Runcorn Linnets.

North West children's charity The Joshua Tree and the Witton Albion Development Fund are set to split the proceeds from the now annual walk from Northwich to the home of Runcorn Linnets for a friendly on Saturday 4 August.

The EVO-STIK League Premier Division club's officials say application forms for supporters to sign up for the 11.7 mile walk will be available when they screen England's World Cup match against Panama at Wincham Park on Sunday 24 June.

Offering support to the whole family, The Joshua Tree charity supports families across the North West living with the life-changing experience of childhood cancer. For more information click here: www.thejoshuatree.org.uk.
