FC United add midfielder to their pack

FC United of Manchester have announced the signing of central midfielder Alex Wollerton from Gainsborough Trinity.
Wollerton, 22, began his career at Manchester United, before moving to Leeds United where he progressed from the U18s team to the U23s.
The young midfielder enjoyed a loan spell at Darlington before securing a move to Barnsley, where he played for their U23s.
In September 2020, Wollerton joined Northern Premier League Premier Division side Gainsborough Trinity.
He made 41 appearances for the Holy Blues, netting three times.
Wollerton becomes Neil Reynolds sixth signing ahead of the upcoming 2022/23 season, with more additions expected to be announced.
