A run of six straight wins and four clean sheets in a row has seen the Boro go top of the pile with six games to go.
The 2-0 win over Kendal Town on Tuesday night moved them two points clear of Atherton Collieries ahead of the weekend's visit of Kidsgrove Athletic.
Macken told RadcliffeFCTV: “The plan is to stay at the top. It’s up to other teams around us to knock us off the top.
"It’s up to us to keep up the standards and keep winning games.
"We also have to keep putting pressure on other teams and it’s up to them to put pressure on us too. Our aim is to keep winning, going into every game – every week – doing our homework, have a game plan and stick to it.
"The feeling is one of confidence and we should be celebrating because it doesn’t matter who you are playing, we want to win every single game and dressing room celebrations show what we are about."
