He first joined the Mariners on loan from Crewe Alexandra at the beginning of October and went on to make 12 appearances in all competitions, including four starts.
During his time at the Marine Travel Arena, he scored twice.
However, he will now return to his parent club following the conclusion of his loan spell.
Discussing the departure, Marine boss Neil Young said: “Connor has done well for us and is a great lad with a fantastic attitude.
“I would like to thank him for his time with us.”
